The curious story of the town of Neskaupstadur in the east of Iceland which was, until recently, one of the most isolated places in the country. Ruled by socialists for half of a century, the town of Neskaupstadur has been undergoing a lot of transitions in recent years, as companies have been privatized and a tunnel is being drilled through the mountain, which will give the community access to the outside world. Grimur Hakonarson acknowledges these changes and looks back in time with a feeling of nostalgia.
