Rocco Siffredi, the famous porn performer with an impressively long career, is finally preparing his exit from the scene with one last shoot in San Francisco. Directors Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai follow his last year of work in front of the camera with wit and sensitivity, revealing Rocco’s relationships with his cousin and devoted camera man Gabriele Galetta, with his mother back in Italy, and his wife and sons in Budapest. The resulting documentary is a surprisingly nuanced portrait of Siffredi’s dual persona, a man “who always tried not to disappoint a woman” —neither the ones he’s bedded, nor—perhaps even especially—the ones in his family.
